A graduate of the Emily Carr University of Art and Design, and full time artist/photographer, Wendy Niamath owns and operates an art and photography studio in downtown, Vancouver, Canada.
Drawing her inspiration from her travels throughout Australia, Asia, Europe and the United States, she enjoys sharing her views of life using vivid colors, shapes and patterns. Wendy is fascinated with the juxtaposition of rigid form and random chaos.
Her paintings have been exhibited locally in several group shows, as well as solo shows at both the Queen Elizabeth Theatre, in 2005, and at the Domaine Du Bosc Vinyard in Montady, France. Wendy’s paintings are held in private collections in Australia, Italy, Norway and British Columbia.
From 2003 to 2010 she sat as Chair of the Emily Carr University Alumni Society. Since 2005, she has represented Emily Carr University as an International Ambassador. Wendy enjoys connecting with fellow artists around the world.
